What time do I need to return the item?
One day's rental is counted a 24 hour period from the time you picked up the item. That means if you rented an item for one day and picked it up at 10am Monday, the default is that the item would be due back on 10am Tuesday - unless you and the owner have agreed in writing to an alternative time. It's important that you return the items on time as many of our owners have back to back rentals. We recommend agreeing to meet in a public place that's convenient for the renter to get to. From June 1, 2020 campervans rentals that are made through the platform will not be insured through Fat Llama. You can still advertise your campervan to rent on the Fat Llama platform, and we will continue to facilitate payment made from renter. This rental, however, will not be covered by insurance for use by the renter using Fat Llama's guarantee.
