Am I covered if the renter decides not to return the item?

Yes. When we say we cover owners against non-return, we mean it.

As per our Terms of Service, renters who fail to return an item are liable to pay the full replacement cost of the item, if this is due to loss or damage as a result of negligence, forgetfulness, carelessness, improper use, not having the appropriate skills or experience to operate those items, and theft.

In the event that the renter is not cooperating and payment is delayed, a claim may be made on the Owner Guarantee. If the renter has accidentally lost or damaged an item then Fat Llama will cover this and a claim may be made.
