What is holiday mode? What does pausing an item do?

If you want to temporarily stop lending your item or items, you have a couple of options in your Fat Llama account.

If you have a particular item that is unavailable or out of working order, you can pause the individual item listing. Pausing a listing makes that item temporarily no longer bookable, though renters can still view the listing and message you about future availability.

Alternatively, if you want to pause your whole account, you can activate "Holiday Mode." Putting your account on holiday mode temporarily removes all of your listings from the search completely until you turn off Holiday Mode.

Pausing a listing:

To pause a listing, click on your icon photo in the upper right hand corner of the desktop and select "My Items." Go to the listing you would like to pause, click the icon with three dots (...) in the corner of the image, and click "Pause" from the dropdown.

Activating Holiday Mode:

To put your account on Holiday Mode, click on your icon photo in the upper right hand corner of the desktop and select "Profile" from the dropdown. Click "Account Settings" from the menu on the lefthand side and toggle on "Holiday Mode." The switch will turn red and will inform you that your items are no longer searchable or bookable.
