My promo code or referral link isn't working.
Double check -- is this a referral link or a promo code?
Promo Code - This will usually be a word, and possibly a number following it. For example, our first-time user code is NEWLLAMA. You will type this into the "Promo Code" box when you go to check out on a rental.
Referral Link - This will usually be a few letters and a few numbers, separated by a hyphen. For example, [fatllama.com/f/shie-1cf4d](http://fatllama.com/f/shie-1cf4d) To get the credit from a referral you will need to sign up for a brand new account through the referral link. If you have already created a Fat Llama account and sign into it through a referral link this will not give you credit.
Are you purchasing or renting an item?
Unfortunately credit, as you will receive from a referral link, cannot at this point in time be used on purchases on the platform, only rentals.
Does your transaction meet the criteria for the promo code in question?
Promo codes specifically will usually have certain parameters. For example, the NEWLLAMA promo code must be your first transaction and have a minimum spend of £50.
